INGREDIENTS
1 c butter
1 c brown sugar
1 c granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
2 c sifted flour*
1/2 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
1 c Quaker Oats
3 c corn flakes**
1/2 c raisins, cranberries, or whatever you like (or omit if you dislike (optional)
1/3 c semi-sweet chocolate chips(optional) |
PREPARATION
Mix together shortening, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt. Add to creamed mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 10-12 mins. *Sift flour first then measure 2 cs makes it very crispy and lacey. Otherwise, to be more doughy you can use 2 c flour (not sifted) and sift later when you mix with other dry ingreds. **You can substitute partial with Rice Crispies or Rice Chex
